Located along Bryan Street in the heart of Bryan Place, one of Dallas’ historic urban neighborhoods, this full-home renovation reimagines a dated residence into a sophisticated modern retreat designed for contemporary city living.

North Dallas Renovations & Bohannon Design Team approached the project as a complete transformation, reworking the home’s layout, updating every finish, and introducing custom millwork and thoughtful design details throughout.

The main living spaces were redesigned to create a seamless flow between the living room, dining area, and kitchen. Wide-plank white oak flooring anchors the entire home, while soft neutral walls and warm wood tones create a calm, modern palette.

In the living room, a dramatic linear fireplace wall clad in dark architectural tile establishes a bold focal point. Custom-built-in cabinetry and shelving frame the space, while a window seat adds both storage and a comfortable place to relax.

The kitchen blends warmth and sophistication with rich blue cabinetry, natural wood accents, and crisp white quartz countertops. A large island serves as the heart of the home, offering generous seating and gathering space for everyday living and entertainment.

Upstairs and throughout the home, each space was carefully considered—from the airy bedroom retreat to the custom stair detailing and built-in children's nook tucked beneath the staircase. Even secondary spaces, such as the laundry room and guest bathroom, were elevated with thoughtful materials and playful design elements.
